Haven - Presthaven Sands
A quiet, pleasant park, set just out side
the seaside town of Prestatyn, and just
along the coast from Rhyl.  It has direct
access to a vast, wide, sandy beach, &
is backed by sand dunes. It’s about ten
minutes drive to the dual-carriageway
that runs the length of the coast, and
allows quick access to most of the main
areas of interest.

The site itself has all the usual Haven
entertainment, and a reasonably large
indoor pool.  We did find the pool was
unbearably busy at times, though, and
the relatively short drive to the lavish
and impressive indoor leisure pools in
Rhyl was a worthwile trip.

The mobile homes were well spaced, &
well equipped. They were comfortable
and clean, and we had nice views over
the countryside to the mountains in the
distance.

Overall a good, economical base for a
