There are two ways you can write for Pro Traveller, and both ways have the potential to earn you
money. We accept submissions from both professional and non-professional writers, and will place
articles depending on the quality and content.
All articles submitted, that are of suitable quality, will be placed on the website in a relevant area.
Usually this will be under the country that it relates to, but it may be linked to a particular topic.
We will then place adverts on that page which relate as closely as we can to the content of the
article. Revenue is generated from the advert if somebody clicking on it subsequently makes a
booking with that advertiser. This revenue will be divided equally between Pro Traveller and you, the
articles author.
In addition to this, if we think an article is of sufficient quality and interest to include in our magazine,
we will pay a cash amount, depending on the length and type of article. Typically this is between
£35 and £90, with the higher amounts usually paid when photographs are also submitted. Payment
is made on a one off basis, and is paid at the time of publication.
All articles must be your own work, as must photos which accompany it. You must also not have
assigned the copyright to any other publication or website at any time.
For full details, please submit a short synopsis of your article(s), or a copy of the article itself if you
prefer, to ProTraveller, and we supply further information and an agreement.
Articles should be between 500 and 1000 words, written in the third person, and ideally accompanied
by two or three relevant photos. Of course the more appealing your article, the more likely it is that
somebody will be inspired to take advantage of the adverts, and therefore generate some income!
