Nigeria isn’t exactly overrun by tourists, but
it’s certainly somewhere that may be in the
near future.

It’s a country that has put its troubles firmly
behind it, and is now an exciting, lively land,
that spreads from near desert in the north,
to lush green tropics in the south.

Former capital, Lagos, is a busy, loud, but
very relaxed cosmopolitan city, (the largest
in Africa). It has a host of top restaurants,
nightclubs, and a genuine feel-good factor.

The country is blessed with some glorious
national parks, especially at Yankari, and
Calabar, with its primate widely acclaimed
conservation project.

Travel to the extreme south western city of
Oshogbo, and you’re sure to be enthralled
by the Osun Sacred Forest, now a UNESCO
World Heritage Site. A wander through the
exquisite ancient shrines and monuments,
sculpted to honour Osun, one of the Yoruba
Goddesses, is one of Nigeria’s highlights.
