Thomson’s flagship Sensatori Resort, Crete has reopened for its second year of operation following
changes over the winter months that now see dedicated areas for families and couples.

When it launched in May last year, the 5 star Sensatori Resort, Crete concept was an immediate hit
with both couples and families alike. For 2009, extensive works at the resort have seen it reopen
with distinct Family and Adult areas. It follows a floor-to-ceiling assessment that’s aimed at further
enhancing the experience.

Whilst maintaining the resort’s speciality of combining luxury, fine dining and great service with its
signature elements of relaxation, play, adventure and sport, the rationale behind the new ‘zoning’
was conceived with the customer in mind, allowing couples to enjoy their time at the resort with
other like-minded adults, whilst giving families the opportunity to come together.

Refurbishment highlights include a brand new activity pool for
kids in the dedicated Family Zone, which is now home to three
family swimming pools well away from the quiet Adults Friendly
pools and spas, where new non-slip tiling provide for a safe &
superior finish.

Further Sensatori enhancements include the introduction of
‘Adults Friendly’ and ‘Family Friendly’ seating reservations and
subtle changes to the restaurant décor to make for a more
sophisticated dining experience and a larger number of luxury
swim-up rooms available.
